I am so so upset with the haircut I received here. It is completely lopsided, one side significantly shorter than the other! It is also much shorter than i wanted as it goes up at the front and I can no longer even tie it back to hide the issues. I have a lot of hair and the cut is just awful. He showed me how much he was going to cut off at the back, an inch or so trim. This went up significantly at the front, more on one side. The cut is straight around with no shape, but bob length, which means without shape & layers cut into it i have been left with massive hair which is completely unmanageable - it literally is a triangle. I am going to have to book another hairdressers to sort it, but it is going to mean i have to go very short to rectify it.
I booked an appointment for a Saturday and was called shortly after to say it would need to be changed with another senior stylist, I was assured on the phone after my consultation they had enough staff and time to carry out what was needed, as an ex hairdresser myself I knew what was needed so asked twice on the phone that I could have my hair done and was assured it was fine. I turned up for my appointment after paying over £100 to travel to the salon to be told they do not have the staff or the time to carry out the services, even though I was told by the manager that I could. I won't be returning to the salon and I think it's disgusting that the manager or shop owner handles telephone bookings as it seems he does not have a clue what he is doing.

It's brilliant that such an affordable hair salon can be found in Chelsea, especially on King's Road. They can always fit you in and are friendly and professional without being pretentious or stiff. I am so happy that I found them and have told all of my friends to go. Those who have tried them out now want to change hair salons to make them their regular. Joanne is great for colour, cutting and styling.
